Alex Mora is an LA-born, first-gen Mexican-American Creative Director who came up in the wild west era of American Apparel and created the iconic Legalize Gay campaign before “purpose” or representation went mainstream. She went on to shape TOMS’ international voice so it spoke authentically to different cultures, long before brands were expected to.

Mid-career, she went back to school. And not just any school — ArtCenter. One of the most rigorous art institutions in the world. She did it while pregnant, postpartum, and secretly pumping during critiques. That’s not just resilience, it’s proof that her creativity survives chaos, or at the very least that she can spin some mean plates.

Now Alex has got some newly sharpened knives and is serving up brands you can feel through work and storytelling that’s sensory, rooted in culture, and built for real lives — not just platforms.
